ITEM is an Amsterdam based design label. We produce high-end and uncompromising design furniture that stands out.

Breaking with the trend of carefully curated furniture collections, we create unique centerpieces that people hold on to for the rest of their lives.

Building on decades of experience in the design industry and furniture manufacturing, ITEM was started by a group of makers passionate about well-designed and quality furniture that immediately catches the eye.

Remarkable design is created in creative freedom. That is why ITEM aims to be a platform for independent designers to realize their ideas exactly the way they envision them. We do not build collections of furniture and accessories that mix and match. Instead we produce bold products and furniture pieces of singular quality.

For this reason we develop and prototype all of our items in close collaboration with our designers on our in-house manufacturing sites just outside of Amsterdam, where we work with a variety of materials among which wood, metal, solid surface and textiles.
